A few things to remember:
Club Dress Regulations (Men and Women)
- Men's/ladies golf shirt.
- Tailored shorts, trousers/slacks or sports skirt.
- Long or sports socks.
- Covered shoes.
- A hat is highly recommended.
- Steel spikes are not permitted.
Handicaps for Competition Play
Men 0 - 36
Two Grades: A Grade 0 - 13, B Grade 14 - 36Three Grades: A grade 0 - 9, B Grade 10 - 15, C Grade 16 - 36
Ladies 0 - 45
Handicap grading for Ladies Club Competitions, (excluding Championships) Club Trophies and donated trophies on competition days will be
divided into two divisions. (numbers permitting)
Local Rules
Check the back of your scorecard and the white-board next to the clubhouse doors for local rules and conditions of play. Cart drivers,
please stay outside the lines around the greens and follow the signs to help maintain our course. The 7th and the 9th holes are ‘cart path
only’ and players are encouraged to use a maximum of 2 carts per group.
Veterans
Under the rules of the QVGU to play as a veteran golfer a player must: a. be female aged 50 years, or b. male aged 55 years. c. be a member
of a golf club affiliated with Golf Australia d. hold a current GA Handicap e. be a member of a veteran club or group affilaited with the
QVGU/AVGU.
To play in a veteran tournament or carnival a veteran must have played in at least three veteran events in the previous six months.

The following refund policy applies to maryborough Veteran Carnivals: 1. Up to the closing date - 100% 2. Between the closing date and the
publishing of the draw - 50% 3. After the draw is published - case by case basis as determined by the match committee
